I called my mom today and wished her happy birthday. It's not a common thing to do in my family all these years for a simple reason that we never really need a specific day to express our love and appreciation towards each other - (we do it everyday by "cursing' or gossiping with each other via sms or phonecalls)
Today she finally got hold of how to use SMS and the first thing she did was replying my eldest sister's SMS wishing her Happy Birthday with this text,
" Mana hadiahnya?"
Came my sister's reply,
"Hadiah?Saya bagi mak cucu baru!"
Hahahahaha....my sometimes "lurus bendul" Kak Long do knows how to make my mom chuckled!.
