I hate that question.
It was tiring to answer it all over again.
When I answered with the normal scripts I usually used such as,
"Belum sampai seru", "Sibuk dengan kerja", "Tak terfikir lagi",
they would retorted gleefully,
"Ish, jangan tunggu lama sangat", "29 tahun, dah patut sangat", " Carilah cepat-cepat", "Nanti, kau dah pencen, anak baru sekolah menengah".
Amboi! senangnya cakap. I wish they know the real reasons why I will not dwell with word 'settling down' for the next 2-3 years. Do they ever think or understand that some people got to push his needs and plans aside just for others.
And it can be a great nuisance when this question comes out from the people we hardly know or meet. Perhaps they have no other idea to say or ask when stumbled upon each other. I will be glad if they could ask me questions like,
"kucing kau dah beranak ke?berapa ekor?"
"eh, bila kau nak tulis buku pasal pengalaman kau?"
or perhaps simply,
"buku apa yang awak baca semalam?"
Ah, never mind since I have a very perfect answer that will make them quiet whenever that question arise again.
" I am gay".

-saya dulu sekolah rendah di SK Wan Ibrahim. (kalau tau dulu dah tukar sekolah Clifford).
-berasal kuala lipis jugak. bapa saya lahir di padang tengku.
-dulu memang saya tak suka sangat lagu-lagu dia.ntah tak sedap pun.tapi bila dengar lagu "bukan cinta biasa" for the first time in Khorat Thailand, sedap pulak.

this phenomenon is not only applies to women, man pun bombarded with such remarks. kalau sehari 10 orang tanya. lama-lama aku mereng jugak dibuatnya! :)

at one time, a prospective father-in-law met me for heart to heart discussion concerning "something very important" (pasal kawinlah). me being cheeky asked him,
" what do you think about me wanting to bring up adopted child?"
he replied,
"are you healthy?" ( in other words: "kau ni mandul ke tidak?")

Poster CT is hung both on the left and right entrance of royal albert hall...except i m not very sure as to how many people wud dare to pay higher than £25 ticket price. She (and her management team) has better come up with good promotion strategy around london (and in the uk in general) esp amongst asian (south and southeast) communities and get herself advertised on at least one of the main london radio stn like capitalfm/heart 106.2FM, and another one from the national stn for eg radio 1 and also local newspaper. This is bcoz she uses this promo-line: "asia's best kept secret" both on the royal albert hall site and on her poster (ref: http://tickets.royalalberthall.com/season/production.aspx?id=3679&src=t&monthyear=4-2005). That's pretty much distiguishing her status among asians. Hopefully it'll be a one-night successful concert on the (ironically proverbial) april fools day.
