Dance With My Father

This song by the late Luther Vandross reminds me of Puan S and her two daughters in Johor Bahru.

Thank you Puan S (wherever you are),for letting this very stranger to be with your family and "to spend meaningful moments" with your husband during his last few days in this world.

I hope this song, a favourite number of your husband and your daughters will be forever etched in your family's memories.

Al-Fatihah for Pak Engku.

Puan Zalisa: saya masih terbayang-bayang cerita Puan S, bagaimana anaknya yang kecil menari bersama-sama Pak Engku bila mana lagu ini kedengaran di radio.Al-fatihah.

Da winged: We bought a CD player purposely to play the tune to his ear even though he's already in stage of comatose. It was a poignant moments when we saw him responding to the song. It was almost 4 years ago and I still can vividly recall the experience.
